Solo as Reward; Silence as Punishment

In this model, "worship" is transactional. Solos, front-row placements, and microphone privileges are used as rewards for loyalty. Conversely, "demoting" a talented singer to the back row or removing their solo is used as a psychological disciplinary tool to enforce compliance.

The Toxic Rehearsal

Rehearsals are often extended unnecessarily to test the "stamina" and "submission" of volunteers. This creates a high-pressure environment where the leader can publicly shame individuals under the guise of "musical excellence" or "spiritual discipline."
